I want to talk about the last one as that is the one I can afford to maintain!
Mark Wilkinson of Plunger Cove Studio says it is:
. . . the home of whimsical water-craft of all shapes and sizes, created using only the finest in re-claimed and salvaged materials.
Take a look at the gallery of photos below to see some of his Standard Pieces.
Besides the Standard Pieces Mark also builds models for:
Custom Orders – modeled from photos of the real boat (gallery) I love the Columbia !!!!
Mercury Tug Project – models of the Mercury tugs (gallery)
Other Fun Stuff – models of float planes, sailboats, tug boats, etc (gallery)
See the rest of his galleries on his webpage – Plunger Cove Studio. Enjoy!
PS I even saw a lighthouse in there too!
The second photo above mentions the Nanaimo Boat Modellers. They have an annual Boat Show:
Nanaimo Boat Modellers’ Annual Boat Show will once again be hosted by Country Club Centre, from April 10 through April 13, 2014. For many years this event has drawn exhibitors from all over the South Island as well as some from the Lower Mainland.
Take a look at their webpage to see what is going on. You will be amazed.
If you are in the area, take the kids and have a fun day.
