The Faroe Islands Are Our Travel Tuesday

A serene haven of tranquil waters, green grass and colorful houses, the Faroe Islands are located halfway between Norway and Iceland.

Well, I had to show you this. Great photos of MANY lighthouses from Pinterest! Click on the photo for the full page spread on Pinterest.

Lighthouse at nightAwhile back I posted a couple of articles entitled Night Photos and the Lighthouse and Lighthouse Under the Stars. Another photographer has been brought to my attention – Michael Blanchette who took the photo at the left. He also has many more photos of lighthouse and nature scenes all taken under the starts – beautiful!

A beautiful video showing what they call “The Wettest Side of British Columbia (BC)” but which I would say shows the way we travel around BC – by foot, boat, helicopter, float plane! The film also shows at the beginning Carmanah Point lighthouse on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Point Atkinson lighthouse off Vancouver Harbour, and Brockton Point lighthouse in the inner harbour. Good film!
